Been awhile
Ok, I havent been keeping up on this and I havent been really making a big effort to drop this weight. My hip and knee issues were getting worse for a minute, but now they seem to be getting better. I have seen a physical therapist and have been given exercises to do to help stregthen my lower back and my abs, they think that its my lower back. So I am starting this up again. Pretty much Monday of this week. Yesterday we went on the Edmonds/Kingston Ferry, walked on and walked around for a couple hours. I also started my exercises last night. Today I took Koen to the duck boats and then after we walked around for about an hour at the Seattle Center. I will lose this weight. I just need to eat more often during the day and not much in the evenings and I must stop after 8pm.

Day 21
Heading up to Greenlake today to walk to the lake with a friend and his daughter and Koen. Should be fun, its nice and sunny outside and its about a mile around I think... I will have to look into that.

Day 20
Spent 3 hours in the backyard today, I split wood and I weed wacked. Sweated my ass off but thats good... took a pic on scale today, down to 253 lb, will post later.

Day 15
Ok so I havent been doing a good job at anything so far, posting, exercising and not over-eating. Well I am doing a little better on the over eating but not much... working on that... anyhow I did the tred or tread mill for 30 minutes and did 10 push up on Sunday and did 40 minutes and 10 push ups today.
My hip starts to bug me about 30 minutes into my work out, the xrays show nothing wrong. I am having my knees xrayed and I am going to see an orthopedic surgeon about my hip/knee.

No nighttime exercise
I figure if I work out 1x a day and do a min of 1 hour of house cleaning, thats like working out 2x. I also take Koen out to the gym, park and the malls so I do walking during those times... But I need to make sure I am getting 2 types of physical activity in daily.
The only thing I have to mind is my hip, currently it has been bothering me. I have started to see a doctor about it. I am not going to let it prevent me from working out. Going to the pool will help with that alot, less resistence.

Day1 Fucothin
I have decided that I am going to lose this gut once and for all. I am 31 years old and have been over-weight since I was about 10 years old. In recent years my hips and knees have started hurting more and I figure getting into shape will help reduce the stress on my body. I also want to show my son how to be a healthy happy human being. I quit smoking a month ago and started packing on more pounds, which I totally expected and am fine with, now it is time to knock the weight off.
I am not shaving my beard or cutting my hair till I get down to 220. I am starting this at 253.5lb. I am roughly 6ft 1 inch tall. My goal eventually is 200, but for now its 220. I want to drop as much as I can before July. I will be working out two times a day, taking Fucothin and eating healthier foods. I will not be eating late at night or fast food anymore. I will eat 3 times a day, take my Fucothin each time, drink vitamin water and watch my calories.
Today I had a granola bar for breakfast, went swimming for 40 minutes with my 3 years old and had yogurt and a ham and cheese sandwhich with mayo and mustard, made sure I lightly spread the mayo. Later tonight I will be getting on the treadmill for 20 minutes.
I will post pictures of my big fat gut later today, also my beard that I already started....
